Advanced water filtration system to improve water quality for winemaking
FILTEC partnered with Moncrieff ’s Winery to develop a filtration system that could handle the seasonal increase in organic concentration of the local river.
The system includes two ultrafiltration trains with cost-effective polypropylene modules, producing water quality that meets New Zealand and Australian water regulations. The solution reduced costs while improving the system’s reliability and efficiency.
Ultrafiltration system delivered in one week
Mitchelton Wines sought FILTEC’s help after floods destroyed their existing water treatment systems. Within a week, FILTEC installed an ultrafiltration plant producing 100 cubic meters of water daily, equipped with ultrafiltration, carbon filtration, and UV disinfection.
A second system capable of producing 300 cubic meters of water per day was also installed to increase treated water volume.
