Simon Grimwood joins as Senior Project Manager
We are excited to welcome Simon Grimwood to the team joining FILTEC as a Project Manager based out of our Auckland office. Simon, originally from New Plymouth, has just returned from Sydney where he was the Design Manager for Suez Water Technologies. Simon moved abroad 18 years ago but now says it’s time to return to New Zealand, after what was supposed to be a two year overseas experience in England.
He has valuable water industry experience from working in large global such as: Suez Water Technologies, Pall Filtration and Ovivo Water, through to small/ medium sized design and construct companies: Aquacell Pty Ltd, Chatoyer Water and Environmental Water Systems (UK) Ltd.
Simon has experience in a variety of water treatment techniques including reverse osmosis (RO), ultrafiltration (UF), electro-deionisation (EDI), chlorine and UV disinfection, water softeners and ion exchange media, activated carbon and multimedia filtration.
His wastewater technology skillset includes dissolved air flotation (DAF’s), flocculation and chemical dosing systems, oil/water separators, and biological treatment: membrane bioreactors (MBR), moving bed bioreactors (MBBR), sequential bioreactors (SBR’s).
We look forward to working with Simon in 2022. His extensive background and water industry experience will be a huge asset to both FILTEC and our customers.
